Keethanow Bingo North (KBN) is located on the Lac La Ronge Indian Band (LLRIB) in north central Saskatchewan . Former Chief Harry Cook was at the forefront of KBN and this vision garnered him First Nation Entrepreneur of the Year in 1983.
KBN's success can be contributed to the fact it has full support of the community as more than 20 groups are sponsors. Keethanow Bingo Halls' responsible staff operates the business in an effective and organized manner which explains why they have been in operation for more than 20 years. The bingo hall moved to its current location about ten years ago and the result is a boom in their business activities. KBN's new location, includes a convenience store and gas bar, and has attracted more patrons and support from the band members and surrounding community. Both the bingo hall and gas bar have created approximately 20 full and part-time jobs. With even larger crowds flocking to enjoy the bingo experience each and every night, the charities will continue to assist their community members.
